This is a windproof, very warm down jacket that has moisture-sensitive down and is well protected. The soft texture shell fabric is durably water resistant; in fact, the fabric itself is waterproof, although some moisture ingress is possible through the seams.The 80/20 down fill has a 550 cuin fill power and delivers very good insulation. This is further enhanced by the detailing: additional, internal cold block fleece cuffs and a thermal interlined hood with a fake fur trim to shut out the wind and snow.The silky-soft SMOOTHLIGHT face fabric is extremely water repellent, totally windproof and the breathable variation on STORMLOCK HYPROOF.
